Why not just use WordPress or Squarespace?+
They are reasonable for simple brochure sites. The trade-offs show up as performance overhead from plugins and page builders, template constraints on anything unusual, ongoing subscription and plugin costs, and a maintenance surface that needs patching. A hand-built site avoids all four, at the cost of needing a developer to make structural changes.
Can our team still update content?+
Yes. Where you publish often we connect a headless CMS such as Strapi, Directus, or Payload, giving your team a clean editing interface without touching code. Where content changes rarely, keeping it version-controlled is simpler and cheaper to run.
Will the site rank well?+
