What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of this website. They do not govern project work. If we build something for you, that engagement is governed by the separate written agreement we sign, and where that agreement conflicts with anything here, the agreement wins.

Using this site

You are welcome to read, share, and link to anything published here. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to it, submit deliberately false information through the contact form, or scrape it in a way that degrades service for others.

Content and accuracy

Articles and guides on this site are general information, published in good faith and accurate to the best of our knowledge when written. Technology moves, and some of it will age. Nothing here is professional advice for your specific situation — for that, talk to us or to another qualified advisor who knows your circumstances.

Project profiles on our results page are anonymised descriptions of real engagements, shared to illustrate how we approach problems. They are not guarantees, and outcomes depend on circumstances specific to each business.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and code of this site belong to Appex Technology LLC, except where noted. You may quote from our writing with attribution and a link. Please do not republish substantial portions as your own.

Product and platform names mentioned throughout the site belong to their respective owners. Referring to them describes what we work with; it does not imply any endorsement, partnership, or affiliation in either direction.

Links to other sites

We link to open-source projects and other third-party sites where it is useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Their terms apply once you leave here.

Enquiries are not a contract

Submitting the contact form starts a conversation. It does not create a contract or oblige either of us to proceed. Work begins only once we have both agreed a written scope and estimate.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, move, or remove content at any time.

Liability

This website is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Appex Technology LLC is not liable for losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. This does not limit liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not affect obligations under a signed project agreement, which sets out its own liability terms.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means those terms apply.
