When is custom software the right call over off-the-shelf?+
When the process is a real differentiator, when no product fits without significant compromise, or when the combined cost and manual workaround burden of several SaaS tools has overtaken the cost of building once. If an existing product genuinely fits, we will tell you so — that answer is cheaper for you and more useful to us long term.
What does a custom software project cost?+
Every project is scoped individually, so we do not publish a list price. After a short discovery call we send a written estimate with defined deliverables and a fixed price before development starts. Tell us what you want to build through the contact form and we will set up that call.
Do we own the code?+
Completely. Source code lives in your repositories, infrastructure runs in your cloud account, and documentation is written so another engineer can pick it up. There is no license, no lock-in, and no dependency on us continuing.
Can you work alongside our existing engineers?+
Yes. We lead architecture, fill specific gaps, or own delivery end to end — whichever your team needs. Working with an in-house team usually means more emphasis on documentation and code review, which we plan for.
What happens after launch?+
You receive the code, documentation, and deployment access, and can operate independently from that point. Maintenance retainers covering updates, monitoring, and feature work are available for teams that would rather not carry it in-house.
